Why I love the sea

My roots are that I was born by the sea, with my dad being in the navy and meeting my mum in port. Over the years, it has always been a relaxing place to enjoy seeing family, plus holidays for swimming or sailing, wildlife watching, late night and early morning walks or a place of calm. All those beach holidays abroad or to Norfolk, Sco

I love patterns, textures and colours and can be inspired by nature, wildlife and the sea to create vibrant artworks for the home or workplace.

Acrylics, mixed media, collage, watercolour, charcoal, sketching pencils and pastels.

I have recently being learning to use Resin on wood with stunning results.

I also enjoy creating art or sculptures using natural products from foraging such as sea pottery, shells, sea glass, metal and driftwood finds.
